A bit about the production
‘Evergladers’ was created for, by and with a mixed group of non professional adult performers, as part of a weekly course. Many of the participants developed and then played characters well above or below their own age range. The residents of the Everglades were convincingly and touchingly played, offsetting the satirical edge of the piece, and presenting a view of the future as the 21st century turned: – into the future we now live in.
